Celebrating 5 years of Crossing Point

Last week we celebrated a major milestone: five years of Crossing Point. What began as a vision to deliver smarter, evidence-based investment solutions has now become a growing, award-winning business - and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our clients, advisers, and partners.

When we opened for business on 1 February 2020, we had no idea what was around the corner. The arrival of Covid-19 marked the start of what would become known as “unprecedented times”. But it also became our first big test - and a moment that defined the Crossing Point difference.

While many investment solutions remained fully exposed, our trend-following strategy triggered a decisive move to 100% cash - a rare event in the MPS world. It was a bold call, backed by data, and made in service of protecting client capital.

That adaptability, rooted in academic research and real-time risk analysis, has continued to shape how we invest - through the pandemic, inflation spikes, geopolitical shocks, and interest rate hikes.

The past five years have brought:

●     The launch of global stimulus programs and fiscal experimentation

●     Supply chain chaos, war in Europe, and the reappearance of persistent inflation.

●     Market-moving political instability, including the UK’s mini-budget crisis.

●     And now, a shifting global order shaped by AI, trade barriers, ageing populations, and heightened defence spending.

In short: volatility hasn’t gone away. It’s evolved, and we’ve been able to evolve with it.

Amid all this, we’ve grown

●     Welcomed new adviser partners and clients.

●     Moved into new offices that reflect our ambitions.

●     Surpassed £200 million in assets under management.

●     And proudly received two Citywire Awards, recognising the strength of our approach.

More importantly, we’ve stayed true to our core belief: that advisers and their clients deserve an investment solution that doesn’t just weather the storm, but responds to it with intelligence, transparency, and conviction.
